Basic Risotto

I have always wanted to make risotto and since I had an extra day off this week (thanks Yom Kippur), I decided to give it a shot.  In my opinion, it turned out alright.  I added asparagus and a little bit of cream.  Next time I would buy fancier Parmesan and add bacon or shrimp so there is a little more flavor to it.  It takes a while to stir but since I knew that going in, it didn’t bother me.
