From page 86 of the November 2013 Epicurious magazine. This soup was delicious!! I’m a little surprised but I really like the flavor.
Things I did different from the recipe: used 3 bone-in chicken thighs because that’s what I had. When it says to take the chicken out, I cut the bones off. Also, for some reason HEB did not have orzo…I looked at the shelf for about 10 minutes and found nothing so I used a cup of small shell noodles instead. I think it came out great. Good warm Sunday meal for a cloudy, cold day. And easy to make for future reference.
