This recipe was so fun! Mostly because it looked really cool and because we shared it with Aunt Patti and her friend Joan. I got to use the rosemary that Pete planted in our front flower bed. I used a whole chicken and two extra chicken breasts just in case we needed more food. I did use the prunes and red cabbage. Next time I might add more celery and carrots. It was neat how the chicken browned quickly with the hot oil. I made all the veggies in my Dutch oven, then dumped it in a bowl and returned it to the Dutch oven without the extra oil. Ok, that’s all for my rambling about this recipes. I forgot to take a picture before cutting up the chicken…maybe next time. I got the recipe here.
